Since 1988, ISSA has provided certification and continuing education for nearly 100,000 satisfied fitness professionals worldwide. Our certifications are recognized by fitness facilities worldwide. After all, we were the first organization to offer personal training certification and create specialized courses for fitness professionals.

The ISSA is currently pursuing accreditation through an established accrediting body, recognized by both the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).

The ISSA is proud to offer individual student support--via our toll-free help line and online question board--to all CFT enrollees. Our student support pre-Certification extends to alumni support post-Certification. So if you're working with a client who has some unusual need, we're always able to answer any questions and we'll even go as far as reviewing your individualized exercise programs, if need be.
